Here are some exciting details on upcoming collections and products which I have come across this week:

Kat Von D make-up is now available in the UK and Ireland! The brand is available exclusively from Debenhams online.  You can see the products here.

QVC UK is now stocking Essie nail polish.  I am a huge fan of Essie nail polishes and so I was super excited to hear that QVC is now stocking the brand.  QVC often has incredible offers and exclusive shades and so I am looking forward to see what products they release.  You can view the Essie QVC UK pages here.

If you were a fan of the highly coveted Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette, then you might be excited to hear that the brand are planning to release a number of other Sweet Peach products.  Products mentioned on the Too Faced Instagram pages include: the Mini Sweet Peach Palette (sneak peek here), the Sweet Peach Glow Palette (sneak peek here) and the Papa Don’t Peach Blush Palette (sneak peak here).  Too Faced has also announced that they will be re-releasing the Sweet Peach Palette again in November (see more here).  Exciting!!!!

If you are on the lookout for a new mascara, all Kiko mascaras are currently reduced to £3.90.  That’s right, £3.90! I’m not sure how long the offer will last, so it’s worth having a look if you have always fancied trying Kiko mascaras.  The offer is available in store and online.  You can view Kiko mascaras here.

For this look, I used a bright cherry-cranberry eyeshadow with medium and deep chocolate browns in the crease to create a warm cranberry effect on the eyes.  I used the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette to create this look but you can use any brand of eyeshadow you like which has similar shades.

This look is part of The Chocolate series, which shows how you can experiment with a different lid colour to change up an existing look.  You can find The Chocolate series here.

If you are interested in how these combinations look on other people, then I’d recommend taking a look at @shinebridabeauty on Instagram! @shinebridabeauty tagged me to show she was inspired by The Chocolate Series and re-created the looks on her Instagram page.  It’s so wonderful to see the combinations on someone else.  @shinebridabeauty also uses different products, which that you don’t need the same items to re-create a look.  She also came up with her own extra Chocolate look – Coconut Chocolate – so look out for that one on her Instagram page!

For this look, I used an amber-caramel toned eyeshadow with medium and deep chocolate browns in the crease to create a warm, soft effect on the eyes.  I used the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette to create this look but you can use any brand of eyeshadow you like which has similar shades.

Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara (Curved Brush)

Today, I am going to introduce you to a recent discovery of mine: Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara with a curved brush.  I used the normal non-curved brush version of this mascara years ago and really liked it.  However, I had completely forgotten about it as there are always so many new exciting mascaras being released which pull me in.  Recently, I noticed there was a curved brush version on the market in the UK. Well, I just had to try it, especially since it was only £5 for a limited time in Superdrug!

For this look, I used shimmery, bright jewel blue on the lid for a pretty flash of colour.  Combining brightly coloured eyeshadows with medium and deep chocolate browns in the crease is one of my favourite ways of wearing colour in a smokey, yet tasteful manner.  I used the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette to create this look but you can use any brand of eyeshadow you like which has similar shades.

This look is part of The Chocolate series, which shows how you can experiment with a different lid colour to change up an existing look.  You can find The Chocolate series here.
