Urban Decay Thunderbird eyeshadow is one of my favourite shades from the brand and was added to Urban Decay’s line-up of permanent single eyeshadows in 2017.

The tone of this shade makes it a go-to for me whenever I want to create a quick, smokey look.  I enjoy combining various colours but sometimes it is just nice to use one or two singles for a look with minimal fuss.

I haven’t seen folk talking about this eyeshadow, so I thought I would put a post together for those of you who love smokey eyes and want an easy way to get them with minimal fuss!

Quick and Easy Neutral Eye (Using Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette

I used the Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette (click here to see my post on this palette) to create this quick and easy go-with-anything neutral eye combination.  I wore this look with a red lipstick but it would go just as well with nudes, pinks, corals or deeper shades.

Debenhams recently launched the Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette online and I just couldn’t resist getting it.  I don’t have any of the other Too Faced Chocolate Bar palettes but this one really appealed to me.   The palette is filled with a mixture of brightly coloured and neutral metallic eyeshadows, as well as some matte shades for blending.  It just looks soooo beautiful and it smells incredible too!

For this look, I used a bright cherry-cranberry eyeshadow with medium and deep chocolate browns in the crease to create a warm cranberry effect on the eyes.  I used the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette to create this look but you can use any brand of eyeshadow you like which has similar shades.

This look is part of The Chocolate series, which shows how you can experiment with a different lid colour to change up an existing look.  You can find The Chocolate series here.

If you are interested in how these combinations look on other people, then I’d recommend taking a look at @shinebridabeauty on Instagram! @shinebridabeauty tagged me to show she was inspired by The Chocolate Series and re-created the looks on her Instagram page.  It’s so wonderful to see the combinations on someone else.  @shinebridabeauty also uses different products, which that you don’t need the same items to re-create a look.  She also came up with her own extra Chocolate look – Coconut Chocolate – so look out for that one on her Instagram page!
