I mentioned in my recent post on the Maybelline Color Drama Intense Lip Paints (you can see the post here) that they are very comparable to the Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks. I thought it would be helpful to write a post comparing these two products to help you choose which might best fit your needs.
Urban Decay recently completely revamped their entire lipstick line and launched the Vice lipsticks. The range includes an impressive 100 shades with six finishes, including sheer, sheer shimmer, cream, metallized, comfort matte and mega matte. An additional 20 shades are also available exclusively to Sephora, so lucky you if you have access to Sephora to view these shades!
This post features the two shades I purchased with a metallized finish: Zealot and Cruel. I also have Wonderland (Gwen Stefani packaging), Firebird (Gwen Stefani packaging) and Venom (from the old Revolution range). Maybelline recently released the Color Drama Intense Lip Paints in the UK (aka Color Jolt Intense Lip Paints in the USA) and they have quickly become a favourite of mine. The lip paints are smooth, pigmented and feel so light on the lips. I think they are a good dupe for the Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks – just as pigmented but at a fraction of the price. This post is based around how I store my eyeshadow palettes, my brushes and the mirror on my dressing table. I store my eyeshadow singles separately in my dressing table drawer so I will do a separate post on that aspect of my make-up collection.

For this particular look, I took inspiration from a skirt I have with a tie-dye, swirled effect. The skirt has a mix of black, pink, blue and purple and I thought it would look so cool to mimic that combination on my eyes.

When I’m on holiday, I like my make-up to be effortless and easy. I like to look polished and nicely presented but I don’t want to have to spend much time getting ready. When I’m visiting warmer climates, I also like my make-up to be very light and fresh; I prefer not to have much on my face at all. Over the years, I’ve managed to whittle down my holiday make-up bag to those products that I know I will use.
I thought it would be fun to do a post featuring those products, as I know how hard it can be to leave products behind when you are a make-up lover! This post features my favourite face, eye and lip products for taking on holiday.
For this look, I brightened up a deep teal smokey eye by applying a true gold eyeshadow on the inner part of the lid. Using a lighter, shimmery shade on the inner lid adds some contrast when using deeper colours elsewhere on the lid.

Today, I am going to introduce you to my new favourite lipstick: Urban Decay Lipstick in Wonderland!
Wonderland lipstick is part of the new limited edition Gwen Stefani collection, which has been launched by Urban Decay. The collection contains a blusher palette, an eyeshadow palette, a range of lipsticks, coordinating lip liners and a brow box. I couldn’t resist taking a look at the products when I was in store and fell in love with one of the lipsticks – Wonderland.
Update: Wonderland is now available as part of the permanent Urban Decay Vice Lipstick collection. The other shades from the Gwen Stefani collection have also been incorporated into the regular Vice range of lipsticks.

Today, I am going to introduce to Urban Decay Venom. Venom is a deep, plum-berry lipstick which creates a beautiful, sultry effect on the lips. The satin finish to this shade makes the lips look sophisticated, defined and polished, rather than flat or overly shiny. The depth of colour in Venom also means that it lasts well throughout the day and does not require regular touch-ups.
