Inglot 10 Cream Pressed Pigment Eyeshadows

Inglot 10 Cream Pressed Pigment Eyeshadows and Palette

Inglot recently released the ‘Inglot 10 Cream Pressed Pigment Eyeshadows’ collection, a new formula for the brand which is part of the 10 year anniversary celebration.  The 10 shades are unique to the brand and inspired by their loose pure pigment range.

The amazing feature of this release is that you have the option to purchase all 10 shades, along with the limited edition Inglot 10 Palette (discounted to £56, usual price £65) or buy shades individually (£5 each).  It’s not often you have the choice over which shades you select, as there are times when you purchase a palette but only want – or end up using – some of them.

The Cream Pressed Pigment eyeshadows are available for purchase elsewhere in the world, if you live outside the UK and Ireland.  The ‘Inglot 10’ palette isn’t available for purchase if you aren’t in the UK or Ireland.  However, Inglot is instead offering a Freedom System Partylicious Palette, along with 10% off when you purchase the full set of 10 eyeshadows.

This post is slightly mixed, in that whilst I think these eyeshadows are amazing, there are some issues with them. I’ve discussed the versatile and beautifully sparkly nature of these eyeshadows, as well as the issues concerning their fragility, in the post in detail below.  I think the eyeshadows are definitely worth getting but it is helpful to know about the issues I have found so you can make a more informed choice on whether to purchase them.

MAC Strobe Cream in Gold Lite

MAC Strobe Cream in Gold Lite

I recently purchased MAC Strobe Cream in Gold Lite after seeing the product used as part of a MAC Masterclass event (you can read more about the event here).  I thought it looked – and sounded like – an extremely versatile product when I saw it being showcased at the event.   I’ve read so much about this product being amazing in magazines and online, so I thought it would be fun to try it out myself.

I’m so pleased I decided to try it out as I have been enjoying using it so much! This product gives my face a subtle ‘lit from within’, glow, making it look incredibly healthy and naturally glowy.

The cream adds in a little extra moisture to my skin and absorbs quickly to leave a non-greasy, smooth, glowy finish. I think it is a great option for anyone who wants to add some extra radiance and moisture to their face without having any tackiness or too much dewiness.

There are five shades of Strobe Cream available, as well as a mini version of one shade (Pink Lite). The range of shades means you can choose whichever one you prefer or one which works well with your skin tone.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup

If you dislike the feel or look of liquid foundations on your skin, then I highly recommend trying out the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup.  I’ve found myself reaching for this foundation on a regular basis, as I just love the consistency, feel, look and finish on my skin.  I generally prefer to wear face powder or powder foundations on a daily basis, so to find a liquid foundation that I actually like wearing shows me that this product is something special!

The formula is so comfortable, lightweight and natural looking that it is hard to believe I am wearing a liquid foundation.  Add to that the fresh, radiant and healthy look it gives to my skin and I think Urban Decay are on to a real winner with this product!

I have an article on the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer on the site which you can find here. I’m planning on updating the post as I wrote it back in 2016, so keep an eye out for the updated version soon!

I am a big fan of powder foundations and have been trying out the Kiko Weightless Wet and Dry Powder Foundation for a few months now.  I have really being enjoying how light-weight the powder feels, as well as how quick and easy it is to apply to the face.  I thought it was time for a post!

Spotlight on MAC: Extra Dimension Blush in ‘Sweets For My Sweet’

The ‘Extra Dimension’ line is one of my favourites from MAC and so I was very excited when they introduced Extra Dimension blushers, skin finishes and eyeshadows to their permanent range.  I found it very hard to choose what products to get as they were so beautiful but I managed to narrow it down to one blusher (featured here) and one skin finish (Beaming Blush).

Bare Minerals Invisible Bronze Powder Bronzer

Over the past year, Bare Minerals has been launching various new products, including the Invisible Bronze Powder Bronzers.  I recently wrote about this bronzer as part of my ‘Make-up For Long and Busy Days’ post (click here to read more) as it is one of my favourite products for adding natural warmth and definition to my face.

I’m fairly new to using bronzer and so I wanted something that would look natural, be easy to use and add some subtle warmth to the face.  This particular bronzer ticks all of those boxes for me. I thought it would be fun to write a more detailed post about this product, as I think it is such a natural and easy to use bronzer!

One of my favourite plum lipsticks (MAC Craving) finished a while ago (sob!) and so there was a wee plum coloured gap in my lipstick collection.  Rather than buying the same shade again, I really wanted to try out a similar shade from another brand.  There is something really fun about trying out a similar shade from another brand, particularly one that I haven’t tried before.  Enter Smashbox ‘Be Legendary Lipstick’ in ‘My Digits’!

IT Cosmetics: ‘It’s Your Complexion Perfection’ 4 Piece Collection on QVC

QVC UK started selling IT Cosmetics last year and since then, I have been eager to try out some of their products.  As of last week, QVC UK started selling the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream as part of a special 4 piece collection.  I’ve heard a lot of great things about this product (Emilynoel83 loves it), along with the other items in the collection, and so I couldn’t resist ordering it for myself.  The collection was also available last weekend for a ‘Today’s Special Value’ deal of £47.89, rather than £65, as part of QVC UK’s Beauty Weekend.  So I just had to get it!

I thought I’d do a post showing what the collection looks like and giving a quick overview of the products inside.  I’ve just received the set and not yet had a chance to play around with the products.  I  might do a few other posts providing more information on what I think of the products once I’ve used them and more detailed product pictures  (let me know in the comments section if you would like to see these types of posts).
