I was browsing in Debenhams this week and couldn’t resist picking up two products from the Too Faced Peaches and Cream collection.

Too Faced recently extended their Peaches and Cream range to include the new Sugar Peach Wet and Dry Face & Eye Palette.  You can read my full post on the palette, along with photos and swatches, here.  The Sugar Peach Wet and Dry Face & Eye Palette didn’t stand out to me online but in person, it was sooooo beautiful! I just loved the whole feel of the palette, from the shades, the versatility of the products, the palette size, the smell and the luxurious feel to the compact.

Debenhams also had in the full range of Peach Kiss Moisture Matte Long Wear Lipsticks, which they haven’t had until now.  You can read my full post on the lipsticks and see photos here.  I tried on a few shades and loved the vibrancy, smoothness and scent of the lipsticks.  I chose Breakfast Club, a bright, sophisticated orange-based red colour.  Edit: I have since purchased two more shades, Peach Beach and Get Peach? .  You can see all of these shades in my full post on the lipsticks.

Stay tuned for an upcoming post on the Peach Kiss Lipsticks!  I also have the Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette and the Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette, so let me know if you would like to see posts on those products.

Have you picked up any items from the Too Faced Peaches and Cream collection? What did you get? Any products you would recommend? Let me know in the comments section below.

NYX Away We Glow Eyeshadow Palette in Hooked on Glow

Some time ago, I posted a sneak peek of the NYX Away We Glow Eyeshadow Palette in ‘Hooked on Glow’ (you can see the post here).  The palette really caught my eye due to the beautiful mix of peach, gold and brown shades in various finishes and tones.

I’ve been using the palette for quite a while now and think it is amazing! The range of colours, finishes and tones makes the palette extremely versatile, whether you want to create easy daily looks or more complex combinations. The eyeshadows are beautifully pigmented, smooth and last well on the lids.  Win-win for me!

Spotlight on MAC: Going for Green (Using MAC Eyeshadows)

Green is one of my favourite colours to wear, both in terms of eyeshadow and clothing.  I thought I would play about with some MAC green eyeshadows and came up with this green combination.

To complement the look: I used Benefit Rockateur blusher on the cheeks and MAC Fresh and Frisky Huggable Lipcolour on the lips.

I mentioned in my recent ‘sneak peek’ post (you can see the post here) that one of my favourite YouTubers, EmilyNoel83, has launched two palettes, in collaboration with MakeupRevolution.  The two palettes – The Wants and The Needs – are amazing and I have really been enjoying playing with them.

Today’s post features ‘The Wants’, an eyeshadow palette with 24 eyeshadows spanning a wide range of colours, tones and finishes.  The shades in the palette have been created to inspire you, as well as to keep you in your comfort zone with your make-up.

I absolutely love this eyeshadow palette, as it has an amazing range of colours, tones and finishes, all for just £15.  I would highly recommend the palette to anyone who wants to try out lots of different, great quality shades at an affordable price.

Today’s post features ‘The Needs’, an ‘all-in-one’ palette which contains everyday essentials for quick and easy make-up.

I think this palette ticks all the boxes for anyone who wants to streamline their make-up application, have everything to hand in one place or have a travel friendly option.  The design of the palette, along with the enclosed products, make every day make-up so much easier – and quicker – to navigate.  Whether you are a fan of Emily or just someone who wants to make their make-up process more seamless, I think this product is amazing! It’s also at a great price point – £10 – so it’s a great way to try out a variety of different products!

I’m a long-time viewer of EmilyNoel83 on YouTube and recently saw her video announcing the launch of her two palettes, in collaboration with Makeup Revolution.  You can see the launch video on her YouTube page here and a shorter video on the Makeup Revolution YouTube page here.

I have tried – and loved – many products that EmilyNoel83 has recommended in her videos and so I was incredibly excited to try out the two palettes she has created.  The two palettes – The Needs and The Wants – are just fantastic and I am enjoying playing with them so much!

The Needs Palette contains Emily’s greatest hits from her favourite Makeup Revolution palettes and focuses on everyday essentials for the face and eyes.  You can read my post, along with photos and swatches on The Needs Palette here.

The Wants palette contains 24 eyeshadows in various tones and is designed to inspire you, whilst also keeping you in your comfort zone.  You can read my post, along with photos and swatches on The Wants Palette here.

Golden Pink Grapefruit (Using Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette)

I’ve been enjoying playing around with the Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette recently and came up with this orange, gold and magenta eyeshadow look.

Tip: If you want to add extra drama to this look, you could add in some eyeliner along the upper lashline.  Black would add extra definition and sharpness to the eyes, whilst a coloured eyeliner (like purple) would give a sultry, ‘pop’ to the look.

Timeless Favourites: The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer

I thought I would kick-start the new ‘Timeless Favourites’ series (you can read more about the series here) with The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer.  Mary-Lou Manizer used to be regularly featured on YouTube and on make-up blogs as a favourite of many make-up lovers.  I wrote a post on this product back in 2016 and thought it would be fun to re-visit the product, as it is still in my collection.

I’m so glad I tried out this product again as it has become one of my favourite highlighters all over again! Mary-Lou Manizer is a pale, champagne-gold powder highlighter which can be used to add radiance to the face, cheeks and eyes.  I think it is perfectly suited to obtaining the strobing effect which is so popular right now.

The Cosmetics Company Store: Clinique and MAC Goodies

Last month, I visited the Livingston Designer Retail Outlet and picked up some goodies from ‘Cosmetic Company Store’.  If you live in the USA, you may have seen The Cosmetic Company Stores.  The CCS sells premium make-up at reduced prices from brands and now has outlets across the UK.

The CCS sells premium make-up at reduced prices from brands within the Estee Lauder group (including MAC, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Smashbox and Tom Ford, to name but a few).  The products are genuine and there is nothing wrong with them.  They tend to be those from limited edition ranges, surplus stock from existing ranges and shades which are being phased out by the make-up brands.

New Series: Timeless Favourites

Recently, I have been going back and trying out products I loved in the past but I haven’t used for a while.  Some of this was prompted by browsing in Boots and seeing products I used to buy all the time and wondering why I had stopped using them.  I’ve also being going through my older blog posts to see what I want to update or discard and I’ve seen posts on some real old favourites.

I’ve found that even though time has passed, many of these products are still amazing and they have become favourites again! There are so many exciting new products being launched regularly that it can be easy sometimes to overlook or forget those gems in your make-up collection which you come back to time and time again.

I thought it would be fun to start a new series called ‘Timeless Favourites’ featuring products which have really stood the test of time for me.   Look out for posts on my ‘Timeless Favourites’ over the coming months!

Are there any products which you find yourself going back to time and time again? I would love to know your ‘Timeless Favourites’ products too.  Let me know in the comments section!
