I have been enjoying creating different looks using the Makeup Revolution The Emily Edit The Wants Palette  (you can see my post on the palette here) since I purchased the palette in September 2018.  I thought it would be fun to post some look ideas I have come up with using the palette.  The lighting is a bit different in some of the photos as the weather was very changeable each day, but you can still get some look ideas from the photos.

I have given details on how to re-create the combination under each look item, along with suggestions for cheek and lip products to go with each look.

If you would like some look ideas using particular shades in the palette, or certain types of looks, let me know! I’m really enjoying playing about with it so stay tuned for more combination ideas!

I really enjoyed watching the recent BBC Three series ‘Glow Up’ (you can read more about the series on the BBC site here) and it inspired me to try something different on my eyes.  I thought it would be fun to play with contrasting colours and came up with this graphic, winged eyeshadow look using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Palette (you can see my post on this palette here).  The eyes are very bold, so I chose to keep things very simple in terms of the cheek and lip colours I used (you can find out what shades I used and see a couple of full face shots below).

I’ve been really enjoying creating various eyeshadow combinations using the new Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Palette (you can see my post on this palette here). I felt so inspired by the colour scheme that I have been using it regularly for my eyeshadow looks.

I thought it would be fun to post four different colourful combination ideas using the Riviera Palette. Each of these looks is pretty quick to create and gives a lovely, colourful effect on the eyes.

I tried to keep the number of brushes I used to the minimum to keep things nice and simple.  The majority of the looks use just the Real Techniques Crease Brush for the crease, outer v, highlighting the browbone and blending and the MAC 239 for the lid.  I also used the Kiko Eyes 61 Graphic Eyeliner Brush (a square edged, thin eyeliner brush) for looks incorporating eyeshadow along the lower lashline.

I have given details on how to re-create the combination under each look item, along with suggestions for cheek and lip products to go with each look.

Smouldering Silver and Purple (Using Kat Von D Saints and Sinners Palette)

I was really eager to play with the deeper, smouldering tones in the Kat Von D Saint and Sinner Palette (you can read more about the palette here)  and came up with this smokey look.  I used Sacred Heart, a shimmery peachy-coral shade, to blend out the crease and add some warmth to the look.

To complement the look: I used Kiko Baked Blush in Marmoreal Biscuit (you can read more about this product here) on the cheeks and Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipstick in Devotion (you can read more about this product here) on the lips.

Spotlight on MAC: Going for Green (Using MAC Eyeshadows)

Green is one of my favourite colours to wear, both in terms of eyeshadow and clothing.  I thought I would play about with some MAC green eyeshadows and came up with this green combination.

To complement the look: I used Benefit Rockateur blusher on the cheeks and MAC Fresh and Frisky Huggable Lipcolour on the lips.

Spotlight on MAC Dusky Greens (Using MAC eyeshadows)

MAC Coquette is quite an interesting shade and a relatively new addition to my make-up collection.  Coquette looks grey-ish taupe but can look more olive green, brown or golden, depending on what other shades you use alongside it.

For this look, I drew out the olive tones in Coquette by combining it with brown and green eyeshadows.

Spotlight on MAC: Aqua and Lime (Using MAC Eyeshadows)

Aquadisiac is such a beautiful, lustre finish aqua colour and one of my long-time favourite eyeshadows from MAC.  This particular eyeshadow is incredibly pigmented, so only a little is needed on a brush for high impact colour.  For this look, I used Aquadisiac alongside Lucky Green eyeshadow, which is another favourite of mine.

To complement the look: I used Kiko Baked Blush in Dreaming Coral on the cheeks (you can read my post and see swatches of this product here), Kiko Glow Fusion Powder Highlighter in 01 Champagne to highlight my cheekbones (you can read my post on this product here) and MAC Huggable Lipcolour Lipstick in Origami Orange on my lips.

Spotlight on MAC: Vivid Coral and Purple (Using MAC Eyeshadows)

For this look, I used peachy-coral, copper and plum MAC eyeshadows on the lid, followed by a slick of NYX Vivid Brights Coloured Liquid Liner in Vivid Violet along the upper lashline (you can read more on this product here).  I really love how the purple liner contrasts and ‘pops out’ against the peach and copper tones on the lid.

To complement the look: I used  Too Faced Sweethearts Bronzer in Sweet Tea (click here to read more about this product), Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Sparkling Bellini (click here to read more about this product) and Loreal Colour Riche Shine Lipstick in 464 Color Hype.
