Lime Ministry (Using Kat Von D Saint and Sinner Palette)

I really love the bright blue (Ministry) and the lime shade (Exodus) from the Kat Von D Saint and Sinners Eyeshadow Palette (click here to read about this product, see photos and view swatches) and wanted to see what they looked like together.  I like how the lime green pops out from the middle of the lid when the eyes are closed.

To complement the look: I used Benefit Galifornia (click here to read more about this product) on the cheeks, Makeup Revolution Highlighter in Golden Lights (bright light white-gold) to highlight the tops of my cheekbones and MAC Shanghai Spice (creamy peachy-nude) on the lips.

Smoked Aubergine (Using Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette)

Iwanted to create a colourful, smokey look using the Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette (click here to see my post on this palette) and came up with this combination.  I really liked how using New Money (a metallic medium fuschia-pink) in the crease added some brightness to the look.

To complement the look: I used Kiko Marmoreal Biscuit Baked Blush on the cheeks (click here to read more about this product), Laura Gellar Baked Brulee Highlighter in Toasted Coconut to highlight the cheekbones and MAC Bombshell lipstick on the lips.

Purple Emerald (Using Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette)

My last couple of looks with the Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette (click here to see my post on this palette) have been fairly subtle and so I really wanted to experiment with a bolder look.  This look combines together deep metallic forest green and purple eyeshadows to create a strong, defined effect on the lids.

To complement the look: I used The Balm Balm Springs Blush on the cheeks, The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer (click here to read more about this product) to highlight the tops of the cheekbones and Maybelline Color Drama Intense Lip Paint in 610 Stripped Down (click here to read more about this product) on the lips.

I recently popped into the Kiko Milano store as it has been a while since I have been in there.  It was so much browsing and looking at the new limited edition collections, as well as their permanent make-up range.   I ended up picking up four products: two from their new limited edition collections and two from their regular make-up line.

I’m going to put up posts on each of these products over the coming weeks, so check back for updates! Click here to read about 02 Feisty Saffron Eyeshadow Palette from the new limited edition ‘Green Me’ collection.

Chocolate Olive Gold (Using Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette)

Here is my second look using the Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette (click here to see my post on this palette).  Holla For A Dolla is a really beautiful, metallic olive green and I couldn’t wait to try it out with some of the golds and chocolate browns in the palette.

Pinked Bronze and Gold (Using Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette)

I recently purchased the new Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette (click here to read more about this product and see photos) and couldn’t wait to try out some of the metallic eyeshadows.  This look combines gold, bronze and pink to create a subtle wash of colour across the lids.

Revelation (Using Kat Von D Saint and Sinner Palette)

Relic – a bright jewel-toned yellow gold – is one of my favourite eyeshadows from the Kat Von D Saint and Sinners Eyeshadow Palette (click here to read about this product, see photos and view swatches).  In this look, I used it on the middle of the lid to create a bright, highlighted effect on the eyes.

Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette

Debenhams recently launched the Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette online and I just couldn’t resist getting it.  I don’t have any of the other Too Faced Chocolate Bar palettes but this one really appealed to me.   The palette is filled with a mixture of brightly coloured and neutral metallic eyeshadows, as well as some matte shades for blending.  It just looks soooo beautiful and it smells incredible too!

Sparkling Silvery Taupe (Using Kat Von D Saint and Sinner Palette)

Immaculate in the Kat Von D Saint and Sinner Palette is a really interesting shade and one I couldn’t wait to try out in a look.  At first glance, it looks like a light, bright silver but on application, it has taupe and tan inflections to it, depending on how it catches the light.  For this look, I used Immaculate on the lid to give a pop of brightness, along with olive green and chocolate elsewhere to give some depth to the eyes.

To complement the look, I used MAC Metallic Lipstick in Forbidden Romance on the lips (a metallic warm brownish-coppery rose), Too Faced Love Flush Blusher in Love Hangover (satin peachy-pink) on the cheeks and Anastasia Glow Powder in Starburst (pale metallic pearly-pink) to highlight.  If you want something with a little more impact, MAC Chili lipstick (matte orangey-brown) works really well with this look too.
